A new race for 2026.

A winter (December) 80 mile race through Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. 

We are still finalising the event timings and details so all the info below is subject to revision and editing over the next few months. If you enter early please be aware of minor detail changes. 

Date and Start time.

December 5th 2026 - 10am

Entries Open - Now

Entries Close - 2 weeks before the race date

Transfer/Deferal cut-off date - 4 weeks before the race date

Timings

Start time - 10am - Registration from 8am.

CP1 Cut-off - Distance Approx 17 miles -TBC

CP2 Cut-off - Distance Approx 28 miles - TBC

CP3 Cut-off - Distance Approx 45 miles - TBC

CP4 Cut-off - Distance Approx 63 miles - TBC

Finish Cut-off - 28 Hours - 2pm Sunday

Bus Timings - Transport from Finish Location to the Start Location - 7-7:30am

Route highlights and history

Tracking

Tracking will be provided by our parnter Open Tracking and will mean you can follow the runners along ther route from home and they will have an emergency SOS function to call for help. 

We will share the tracker info just before the race.

Kit List

There will be a mandatory kit list to ensure you are carrying a minimum set of kit to keep you warm and dry should you get injured while we get help to you. 

1) The ability to carry a minimum of 1ltr of fluids at all times

2) Waterproof Jacket and Trousers - Not just windproof. They must have taped seams

3) Headtorch with a minimum of 100lumens and enough charge/battery life to get through 1 full night (10-12 hours).

4) Mobile phone fully charged at the start

5) Spare Long Sleeve Base Layer

6) Survival bag or Foil emergency bivvy

7) 1000 Calaories of food m minimum from the start

8) Warm Hat

9) Gloves

10) Maps of the route or GPS device such as a watch or handheld.

We have a dynamic pricing scheme to encourage and reward ealy entries. See our policies

The first 25 entrants get a special Discount price of £80

The next 25 get the early discount price of £100

The rest of the entries pay the full price of £120
